Der Beschaffungsbetrieb der MIVA (BBM) setzt sich direkt für die Umsetzung der nachhaltigen Entwicklungsziele ein. Er hat dabei nicht auf die UN-Zielformulierung gewartet, sondern verwirklicht schon seit 1995 technische Projekte in ländlichen Gegenden Afrikas.
